Ok, in no order at all: I could just list all of his work except his poetry but The Art of the Commonplace: The Agrarian Essays of Wendell Berry was my introduction to his work so there it is. amazon/The-Art-Commonplace-Agrarian-Wendell/dp/1593760078 The Complete Stories of Flannery OConnor. amazon/The-Complete-Stories-Flannery-OConnor/dp/0374515360 Again everything he has ever written but The Innocents Abroad by Mark Twain is the right kind of sarcasm and ironic gentle cynical humor. amazon/The-Innocents-Abroad-Wordsworth-Classics/dp/1840226366 The Myth of Sisyphus by Albert Camus amazon/The-Myth-Sisyphus-Other-Essays/dp/0679733736 The style puts some people off but I found it compelling, Blindness by Jose Saramago amazon/Blindness-Harvest-Book-Jose-Saramago/dp/0156007754 Again, a hard writer for some, not because of his style but rather his content, and one for whom movie adaptations while they dont do justice also dont butcher his work.
