I dont even know what to do anymore when all of the people who are making these rules about the animals dont care at all about the animals...Animals are being seized and taken to the only place in BC that has a rescue permit but he doesnt have room to house them properly. I have also been told that certain animals WILL be euthanized as they can not be properly housed at his facility long term which we could easily do... He is a friend of mine and does a great job with what he has but he cant take in the animals like we can. We have applied for our rescue permit and are not at about 7 months with nothing back. I talk to them and all they say is that it is being processed I just got off of the phone with one of the main people and they really dont care...We also have our turtle situation...We are to the point where in the next week or so we will have to euthanize 40 or 50 turtles. We have tried contacting every possible person (including the minister) with no response... I am here to help save animals lives but the ones that need it most get nothing....I wish there was something that could be done but the people in power really dont care... that is my rant for today...
