I dont feel the necessity as if defending anyone here, but to enjoy the simplicity and beauty of God. Ive heard from others the glory seeking of IHOP leadership. Ive met few individuals as genuinely humble with joy and a heart burning for Jesus than those here. David Sliker, Wes Hall, Stuart Greaves even Mike Bickle, who bears much of what is spread abroad. I give the living God thanks for these men, as Ive been blessed to sit under not only their teachings, but at times privy to their private lives as they do tend to make themselves rather transparent. There is great humility and love at work in them each. Are they perfect? Certainly not. They are as human as any. And all this was brought about as I paced in the prayer room and noticed Larry Lea had taken a seat right in front of mine. Making no overtures of any expectations for acknowledgement from anyone, though being a sought after speaker and author of more than a few books, and dressed only in a simple sweatshirt and jeans, soaking in the presence of God, worshipping and praying. The Lord will bless them, as He has even blessed them already. May He keep them as they hide themselves in Him and His Name, which is a strong tower. The blessings of God in Christ Jesus overtake them and us all as we abide together in Him.
