I dont generally insinuate my political views on Facebook, but I just cannot stop myself tonight. I have been a staunch republican since before I could vote, and while I always educated myself on all views, I have always voted along the party line. Tonight, I starred at my ballot and had a frank discussion with myself. I questioned each candidate because I felt that my choices on the ballot had nothing but controversy, corruption, questionable ethics, and impending danger. I relented and voted along my party line, reluctantly because I truly wish we had choices that were untouched by corruption, unblemished ethics, true Americans who had their constituents best interests at heart. But, that is not the case, and until we tire of the constant pendulum of power, this is the hand we are dealt when exercising our right to vote.
