I dont get all the disgust for McCarver and Buck. Their job is to try to be excited for both teams and yet not overly excited for either team. Its a hard job, and I think they do a pretty darn good one. Yes, St. Louisans would love a little extra love from one of their own. But then the rest of the country would cry major foul. Yes, McCarver does say some pretty dumb stuff sometimes. But so does Mike Shannon. Have you ever listened to some of the other teams broadcasts?
