I dont get it. How is believing in creationism killing science? If anything, I would argue that it improves it. I believe that God still works within laws of physics. However, just because we dont understand all of the laws yet, doesnt make it less true. Science is a progression. I believe God separated the day from the night, and there were many scientific theories in the beginning of how He did this. Eventually we figured out the how, but faith in God wasnt lost. If you didnt have creationism, you have closed a door to one line of research. God created the earth, but I want to know how He did it. There is research going on to try and find the how. There is no LAW of evolution. There is only a theory. And until they can prove it and recreate it, it cant be a law. But, working toward proving it they have stumbled across a lot of other valuable discoveries. Just as they have stumbled across many valuable discoveries trying to prove creationism. I think the U.S. is a leader in innovation because of our different views and opinions and our freedom to have them. If we stop having different beliefs, then that is what will kill science. Where is the exit from this soap box?
