I dont hate all mainstream rap. But most of it I do anymore. The art of hip hop in the mainstream has just gotten lost. There is absolutely NO substance to a majority of it. I like club music too...but you can still make a dope club banger and still kick out something with meaning or substance. The YMCMBs of the world have taken DUMBED DOWN to a whole new level and the degrading of Women has gotten completely out of control. However... Cats like IRV DA PHENOM Hopsin and many other Independent artists are leading a Revolution. They are Artists who respect and appreciate the Craft and Art of rap/hip hop. I want to make VERY CLEAR..My upcoming album Heart Of Gold (Nov. 5th) is not mainstream in any way shape or form. Im proud to be labeled an Underground hip hop Artist. My ultimate goal is to create something that will have a POSITIVE INFLUENCE on todays youth while at the same time showcasing my talent/skills as an emcee and songwriter...If I gotta chop off a couple heads in the process then im gonna do it....Im going to do my best to put my self in a position to where I can give back to the CHILDREN of our corrupt World. #RESPECTtheART
