I dont have many clear memories of my father and namesake, and most of what I can recall is not terribly pleasant. We spoke for the first time in 23 years a couple months ago. I didnt have many nice things to say. I regret that now. I had things I needed to say, and I did. Ill never really know if having him in my life would have made it better or worse. However, he gave me life, he taught me a few good lessons as a boy, and instilled in me a love of music for which I will always be grateful.
