I dont know about you guys, but I can eat cream cheese with anything!! Try this frosting recipe on your next cake ! Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe & Method Always use a good quality full fat cream cheese (the light cheeses can cause the frosting to be runny). Cream Cheese Topping : 70g (2/3 cup or 3oz) butter (at room temperature) 200g (3/4 cup or 7oz) Cream Cheese 400g (3 cups or 14oz) icing sugar, sifted ½ tsp (2.5ml) vanilla extract Method : Place the Philadelphia in a clean mixing bowl and soften slightly using a spatula - do not beat. Gradually add in the softened butter, mixing until smooth. Slowly sift in the icing sugar, mixing until smooth.Lastly, add in the vanilla extract and mix well until all ingredients are combined thoroughly. Makes enough for 12 Cupcakes or filling for an 8" Round.
