I dont know how I feel about peoples beef with the new Noah movie for lacking in biblical accuracy, but they do need to remember if it is based on the bible is it is rare that a director will stick 100% to the source material, they rarely do it for any literature. You could direct me to the old Moses movie, I would easily say well moses didnt have a speech disability in the movie. and thats not accurate therefore the movie itself is not accurate. One might say that isnt a large difference but you suddenly write out entire scenes where his brother Aaron spoke to pharoh as a sort of translator. My point being if you judge one movie by its inaccuracies then you have to judge all movies by that single yardstick. Either just take it as it is a retelling of a bible story (I admit apparently with A LOT of add-ons) or not watch any movie that depicts a single detail differently or adds anything to it. Instead if you want accuracy just save your money and read the source material.
