I dont know how to even begin to say Thank You to everyone who planned, donated (time,$,food, prizes, muscle power, decorations, hay), volunteered countless hours, showed up to clean up, was there for mental support (much needed and appreciated), and took bossy orders like a champ. Thank you for the countless people that showed up in a big way and supported each of our events and dug into your pockets :) thank you for all your words of encouragement and enthusiasm. It was all worth it to see so many smiling kids, parents and community members. Thank you to our many sponsors and the many booth vendors that donated their time and all the treats and goodies (they were fabulous). I absolutely loved looking at all the mess on the floor because it was evidence of good time by all! It helped too, when there was a great turnout to help with the cleanup! It didnt take long with everyones efforts -- I cant begin to list all those Im so thankful for, for fear of leaving someone out. Trust me, if you heard me say thank you at all, I meant it with the deepest sincerity and so grateful for you. I do have to give a huge shout out to Kelli Hampton for sticking by my side through all the craziness and working her tail end off, on top of a full time job and twins! Shes was a lifesaver and deserves a huge thank you!! And of course, with out fail, the Wheeler Area Aquatics Center committee (Judy Woollard, Weldon Dolores Simmons, Stacy Finsterwald, Mike Bailey-- Brenda McCasland Mitchell, Acasha Baker Mick,Kimberly Jude Gaines). You guys had enthusiasm that never wavered and donated more time and money than should be allowed for a committe. I pray your efforts will be rewarded (quickly, I might add) for the sake to see you smile bc it means so much to you. You each have worked so so hard and behind many scenes. Im glad Ive been able to have the chance to work with each of you. Thank you so much for all of your dedication to the cause. I hope many kids will be very grateful for a new pool. And last but not least, the Wheeler Vfd and their significant others! You guys are a blast and so willing to help and accept the challenge of crazy ideas. I sure hope you dont start running when u see me coming with the next idea. You guys were a HUGE part of the success yesterday and Im so extremely grateful for each of you and as well as the service you provide for OUR wonderful community. You guys have not only donated your time, resources, man power, and enthusiasm BUT you also donated $thousands$ back to the WAAC and for that MANY are thankful, grateful and humbled.
