I dont know if I can post this here. ..I need a little advice. I have only had big dogs, I now have a chihuahua. Shes big for a chihuahua. Anyways she has lost all her baby teeth now that I can tell but she is chewing more than ever. Every toy or bone we give her for her size category she devours and eats by the hour. Balls, stuffies, sqweeky toys, raw hide bones ect. And then she moves onto household items like shoes, pencils, baby toys and more. I never had this issue with a big dog. Also she used to bark at other dogs (wanting to play), then every person, now cars going by lol. does anyone have experience with these dogs that might have an idea as to what is a super strong toy or bone? And any clue as to how to calm her excitement with everything she sees lol. We have tried all that we know. Shes still a pup...about 7 months or so. So I know she is still trainable weve just never delt with this little of excitable dog before. And shes an absolute sweet wonderful dog. ..just need a couple pointers. Here are some pics of her size. I would say she is 8 to 10lbs.
