I dont know if anyone is familiar with the Canadian sitcom Corner Gas but it was one of the first mentions of The Executioner Ive seen in popular culture. In this episode the main character joins a book club and convinces them to start discussing pulp novels, including Executioner #147. The first Executioner reference is at the scene starting at 11:40 and continue throughout the rest of the episode.
