I dont know if its a conscious or subconscious thing, but I feel like loading screens in modern video games deeply bias console players. For example, in Dragon Age: Inquisition, loading screens feature three cards with game lore on them. I generally like reading that stuff, because sometimes Biowares team is totally on the ball and has neat stuff. However, I dont even have a phenomenal PC for gaming, and I cant read a single sentence on those cards. The cards are typically a couple of paragraphs of text. Not sure where Im going with this.
