I dont know if this is in Lewis or Carter County. The right side of this building was used as the Eby, KY post office many years ago. I have a letter sent there- to my aunt from my uncle-who was overseas during WW II. I visited the house (now renovated) next door where the Cooper sisters (post-mistresses) lived, when I was a child. The building is shuttered and appears to be intact. Gourds hang on the porch and a shed has been attached. An amazing find! It is posted as private property. Informed it is Carter County.
