I dont know if you all have been able to notice from all the recent pictures (reposting to show you all) Ryland has been gaining weight very well. Even when he loses weight with his reoccurring frequent colds he has started bouncing back fairly quickly. I usually dont post his weights because I dont care to get debates started but I am posting yesterdays weight check. Yesterday Ryland weighed 15lb. This is awesome in so many ways. It means that since birth he has gained 10lbs. So he is now back on schedule to where he is suppose to be at. This means that when he goes for his 9 month check up he will more than likely on the growth chart for the first time ever topping in at the 0 percentile. His weight gains are incredible and makes me more than happy! But as always with the good comes the bad. :) It seems as if Ryland isnt wanting to grow height wise. Instead of growing steadily in a curve on his growth chart for height he is growing at a very very small incline. I havent measured him recently (lets be honest. I have misplaced my measuring tape lol) but he went for his 6 month checkup right before Christmas, it was showing that he had only gained 1/2 inch in three or so months time. So height growth is also a concern. I will be mentioning it to the doctor when he goes for his 9 month checkup. Other wise we have enjoyed our lazy day!
