I dont know if you remember but when I have been denied passage in - TopicsExpress

I dont know if you remember but when I have been denied passage in the US on the 25th of March this year at the Port of entry of Philadelphia, I have been questioned about all the people I was in contact with in the USA and if i was going to meet any of them. , During these 5 hours of intense grilling, they quizzed me about every single contact I had in the US over the last few years and the reasons of each previous visits. Once they found some private e-mails on my phone, they quickly found out that the ESTA (Tourist visa I have applied for) was not matching with the original purpose of my visit and they flagged this as a business matter even if i clearly told them that I was going to attend the opening of my OWN exhibition. They have pulled (printed) hundreds of e-mails from my accounts and continuously quizzed about tiny details on each person that i don t know myself to make my life even more difficult, they finger-printed me, mug-shot me, measured me, body-scanned me and made me feel as if I was a notorious criminal. At the end of the grilling, they determined me to be inadmissible to the United States under section 212 (a) (7) (A) (i) (I) of the INA, a immigrant not in possession of a valid immigrant visa. They told me I do not appear to be a bona fide traveler for pleasure and that I misrepresented myself on my ESTA (Tourist visa application). They refused me admission to the United States under the Visa Waiver program and they returned be back to the UK on the same day. They told me that I am ineligible to use any Tourist visa at any time in the future and that I will be required to obtain the right type of visa before I MAY re-enter the United States. Does anyone understand what this mean and what could be the consequences of a future visit in the US. Do I have to limit myself to video-conferences? What are my chances I could be admitted in the US at all in the future? They offered me to communicate via telephone call with consular officers of the country of my nationality. But it was just minutes away from the last call to my return flight to the UK, I was feeling like i have lost the fight and all i wanted to do is just to retreat. I would not imagine what worse could happen if i had decided to appeal. Further on, I had been denied access to my e-mail accounts on repeated occasions. I suspect they were conducting further investigations, reason I could not answer you any earlier. In fact, when i managed to log in today, i realized all my e-mail accounts (gmail and hotmail) have been seized for investigation. Hence why it has been taking me so long to get back to all the messages I now had the chance to reply. I am still waiting to confirm more requests I have said Yes to...and I should be back on the way with some new logos very shortly...
