I dont know what it is, it really bothers me when a dog loses its life to a coyote, it hits me hard. I look at the face of my pups and cant even imagine it. I cant imagine them going thru that. I pray its quick fir these pups but I know its not always that way. They look to us for protection, we bred this instinct out of them and we need to step up. I guess people figure if they dont see them, they arent there. Im sorry to burst your bubble but they are and have been and will continue to be. Its such an easy solution but people dont listen or are clueless. We need to educate, we need to care and if its too much work, get a bigger dog. Our rescue educates adopters, its pushed its grained in. We need to educate the public, rescues need to get involved. I have it posted here, word of mouth, shared in other groups, posted on craigslist, shared on Facebook. How can we educate the public, how can we get the word out ...give me your ideas. I look into my dogs eyes and I cry for the families that lost theirs.
