I dont know what makes Navajo Tribal council, Notah Begay and this coalition think they can FORCE our PEOPLE to eat healthy...... You can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink!!!!! Its better they lead by example, I have seen some working in the health field that should be practicing what they preach....... Our people cannot be forced it is a learned process, thanks to the federal government...... Look at the commodity foods...... some of those are worse than junk foods you can buy at the stores...... and yet they are given free to our people. Things like this is where they should look to start making the changes, do you really think our people are going to say Yes, tax my junk food so i can pay you to educate me about what i eat??????? However, cutting taxes on health food items is a great way to start, making healthy foods more easily accessible and affordable is like opening the door....... COme on folks!!!!! THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX!!!!!
