I dont know where I am suppose to put this, but Gayle Kempa gave me this assignment to list seven things about myself. So here goes--- 1. I have never paid a traffic ticket, nor a parking ticket. ( This doesnt mean Im not guilty!) 2. I got to shake President Nixons hand. He was the first President that I voted for, and he got impeached! 3. I hiked to the top of Mt. Elbert (the highest peak in Colorado, 14, 510 feet, I think) twice. We couldnt finish the third attempt because an electrical storm surrounded us and we were in extreme danger. Lightening and thunder claps were simultaneous, and our hair stood straight up! Gods mercy we were not struck. 4. I have played in the Atlantic Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, and the Gulf of Mexico. I even floated in the Great Salt Lake in Utah. 5. I love Nature: Skies and clouds, mountains and streams, birds and animals large and small, flowers and trees. Recently I have become fascinated with the patterns of tree branches. Dont know why I never noticed them before. 6. I do get the jeeby heebies when I see a spider, but one time I actually captured a Black Widow and kept her in a jar on my desk at work. I fed her flies to keep her alive. I also caught a snake barehanded once. For some reason I became quite popular with my boy classmates for a little while. 7. My greatest earthly joys have been being Larrys wife, Justins mother, and now, Bethinas mother-in-law. Im still waiting on the grandchild!
