I dont know why I didnt think to post this earlier- but heres the story . In 1964- the Wildcat baseball team defeated Middletown high TWICE to gain the city championship. It also qualified that team to go onto the state games. Wilson was ranked 15 out of15! Well- our guys WON the Class B State Championship title that year. Twice - the 1964 State Champs have been nominated to be inducted into the Middletown Sports Hall of Fame and twice were turned down! Our reunion committee decided to nominate them again and had ballots at our reunion and 137 were signed . If you would like to nominate our team and add to our 137 ballots - it would be so great . All ballots have to be in by September 10!! So not much time- you can do it in five minutes this weekend . Simply go to Middletowncthalloffame Go to the official ballot and download it . Where it says - I nominate-write The Woodrow Wilson High School 1964 Class B State Championship Baseball team. Fill out the bottom box. Across the ballot- where information is asked - just write in attach to the ballot of Claudia DeFrance It would be great to get another hundred ballots in!!! THANK YOU WILDCATS! I LOVE YOU!!!!
