I dont like having to choose sides. Some of the things I have seen are just pure evil. This is not to say that your concerns are invalid. You should be concerned with damages to a product that weve been waiting a year for. But all of the arguing really should stop. Everyone thats met the band knows the guys. You know what type of people that they are. Regardless of whether or not this is a productof the band or not, its still a reflection on them just as it is on TCD. If you were in the band and your fans were arguing like this about merch reflective of them, would you be happy about it? I know your frustrations, and I agree some things should not have happened (i.e. sharpie markers), but will the band really be happy to see all of this infighting between the fans? I would think not regardless of who is to blame. Has anyone had a problem with the content of thier box set? I havent heard any complaints about this aspect. Its some pretty sweet footage can we acknowledge that? If someone came after you that way, would you want to argue with them publicly until you were blue in the face, or would you just sent TCD an email with The Damage Done(see there?) pictures as was requested in the first place? I do not believe that this would have been hidden from the band. I believe that they are in the loop. It is a reflection on them as mentioned above. I may take a lot of heat for this post, which is fine as I expect that, but I am amazed at the content that I have recieved. I am literally blown away by the amount of legal work that had to be done in order to put this set together for us. I am just as disappointed as thr the next guy about the damages, but I choose to remain positive about this entire situation. As this is what the band expects of us. This is what sets us apart as fans. Never have I seen such a passionate fan base such as this one. And to see how this human error is tearing that fan base apart, is simply heartbreaking to me. I truly believe that there is someone to blame on BOTH sides of the spectrum, but think about the band and how this reflects them please. Im not convinced that the band hasnt already been watching what has been going on, and Im sure that they will be addressing this issue and taking appropriate action as deemed necessary. And I am confident that the aesthetics of all of our sets will be made right. You have to treat people with respect to get it in return. This is the ONLY post regarding this matter, that youre going to see from me. And Im not posting this to start anymore arguments. We need to all band back together in order to celebrate the reason we even have this box set in the first place. Im not naming any names or pointing any fingers, there are just simply more appropriate ways to handle things. We are all human, and were all going to make mistakes. TCD are people just like you and I, and one thing I know about people is the fact that they all have feelings too. I know that some will scroll past this, some it will not agree with me, and some it will just simply piss off. Thats good, because it serves as a reminder that you too are human and has these feelings just like everyone else. Please, all I ask is for you to think about how this will affect how the band feels about its fans, and how it reflects on them as well. There is no instant fix for this, and its going to take a little while to clean it all up. But I do believe it will all be made right in the end. It all ends well...I still love the band, TCD, and every one of you crazy fans. Were still all family
