I dont never do Shit like this but I am right now..been writing rhymes and making music for a while now..personally I think Im pretty good at it, and there are a few people out that will agree..here goes maybe my favorite rhyme Ive ever wrote..from the inspiration to the execution..the wordplay and the vocab, to the over all messege...I struggle with making my music as accessible as possible for the sole reason that I have been granted a gift to speak for those that cant verbalize their stories..but Ill be damned if while striving to be accessible I compromise the integrity of the artform that Ive been In love with for the better part of 3 decades and Ill be double damned if I dont hold myself to the same strict standards that I hold those I consider to be great to.. go ahead and listen while u read the lyrics..and dont be ashamed or afraid to use Google or ask me for any explanations..the verse starts at 3:43 They never tell you winnings harder than losing, feel good when you got it,hit hard when you lose it/ then the moment you realize its all an illusion, used to have it together than you honestly lose it/ shattered persona fragments, wondering how it happens, witnessed it first hands but now you wrapped in the madness/ trapped in a labyrinth searching for serenity due to your state of mind you encountered the wrong entities, ....the wrong energy compounded with karma can equal a strong enemy/ got you fighting tooth and nail to prevail, the wind beneath your wings has suddenly set sail / exterior chain maille, inside remain frail/ falsified facade try hard to remain real/ its just the devil tryna test your mettle and I promise that youll succumb if youre less than thorough Classic
