I dont normally get overly upset by things on facebook, but this is something that i seriously need to talk about. Over the past couple of weeks ive been seeing people doing the Ice Challenge which is pretty much people throwing ice water on themselves and challenging their friends. As important as the cause behind this is, people need to realize that this has NOTHING to do with cancer. Youre basically saying If you dont do this challenge your punishment is you have to donate money to charity and it should NEVER be like that. People need to rethink their priorities and see that if someone really cared about this cause, they would donate money to the cancer council instead of posting a video on facebook for likes. As someone with a family member who has cancer, i urge you all to please take the time to support a fantastic charity instead of supporting people who think that a stupid video will help find a cure. cancer.org.au/get-involved/donate.html
