I dont normally post anything serious, but please read this: Family, friends and also squares: I am aware that you may have no idea/care about who this band is. But. In a terrible accident, someone was injured at a show of theirs. Now, when you go into a show like this, you are aware of the risk of injury. I, myself, have been injured at many a show, although not seriously, and not just at theirs. The crowd and band are NOT VIOLENT PEOPLE, but they party like its their last day on earth. Its an AWESOME show even if you dont like their music due to their energy alone. In my years of attending shows as a fan, they have always been kind to me personally, and I implore you to support them by signing this petition. The injured party pressed charges and won more than necessary to compensate for medical bills. Putting herself in a situation in which she may have been at risk for injury in a packed crowd of wild music fans does not give her the right to such an outrageous level of monetary compensation. This lawsuit is uncalled for and hurts more people than it helps. That said, from what I recall, this woman is employed and probably has health insurance. This is speculation, because I dont remember exactly what I read, but that isnt the point; I think Ive established what the point is. Please sign and share this for me, for music, for my friends and for Fishbone. Thanks buddies. Sorry about all the times I call you names.
