I dont normally post stuff like this. Trite sound-bytes of potted wisdom, seeded en masse across cyberspace. And no, I am not a particular fan of Johnny Depp, though I want to see some of his films that I might not have seen and check out his acting more closely. But this quote resonates with my thinking right now. And I would add one trite sound-byte of my own. Real love needs steel in its composition, to survive. The saccharine cloying candy floss dissipates. Forge a love to survive everything, the kind of love that gives people the strength to survive war, famine, deprivation and decades of lifes ups and down. Love like that, for me, is the supreme triumph of the human spirit.
