I dont normally speak on topics like this, but this one really hurts my heart and I felt compelled to speak. Mrs. Rice lashed out yesterday at the media and defended her family. This was said to be a first time isolated incident, completely out of character. If you can, watch this video. Does she react to the first punch as woman who is shocked that she was just hit? I think not. She goes after him. She doesnt hesitate, doesnt flinch. This is a textbook abusive relationship. This isnt their first fight, its just their first one that is caught on camera. I hope and pray that they get the help they need and stop the cycle of abuse in their home. I pray for their marriage, yes their marriage, that they will find forgiveness and learn to love each in other in tenderness and gentleness and that their home be a place of joy, peace and love. *On a side note... if you are being abused, there is help available. Just get out. Get to a safe place. I promise it gets better. There is a better way. There is life out there. I know. I was once like you.
