I dont often ask for donations or money, but I am running the Lawndale 5k on September 20 to raise funds for an awesome non-profit organization. They give college scholarships to our very own Chicago kids and support emerging urban leaders. They dont just give kids money and send them on their way, but their organization actually travels around the country to visit their scholars to keep them encouraged.
