I dont post much on Facebook but sometimes you happen upon something that is so powerful, the phrases im at a loss for words or i dont even know what to say sound more true than even saying your own name. At any one time, there are thousands of happenings, both positive and negative, that ring true to people in every corner of the world. Their personal ties to the event, the individuals, and ultimately their heart felt pain or joy, can only be felt or understood by others in varying degrees that ultimately are just shades of the ones felt by the ppl closest to each occurrence... Undoubtedly, the next few months will bring out endless discussion and examination of all aspects of this event and the people involved to try and make sense of an incident, that in the end, is just tragic, preventable and incomprehensible....Nonetheless, multiple lives will irrevocably be altered, and one life will no longer be at all. For something so perpetual, common and universally experienced as a single moment in time and space, they can, and often do, have a drastically greater power and effect than anything else so readily available.... Remembering both your vulnerability and also your empowerment to any one moment, is probably the most universally poignant way I can produce, to support the undebatable reality in the equality of all humanity. Its not a new idea by any stretch of the imagination and even in saying this, i realize it can be simply summarized in the word COMPASSION, but today, in this moment, the advances in global communication and specifically the commonality of a simple Facebook post, hopefully can be one piece of the puzzle in the effort to make the world a better place. So, keep on breathing for your own health and more importantly for those who now cannot.
