I dont post on here very often but I feel that this is a good time to break that trend. As most of you know we are just a few short weeks away from the one year anniversary of the absolute worst day of our lives. There is so much emotion that comes with this time of year and this season of fall. From what used to be our favorite time of year to now trying to just get by with the fall decor and the being excited for Halloween so that its normal for the other kids. The truth of the matter is that ever day is a challenge but we get by because we have each other and we have our friends and family and we have faith that God has a plan for everyone and one day we will all leave earth some sooner than others but it is out of our control. It doesnt make it fair or easy to understand but we try.. This year is tough for me just as it was at the end of the month last year as I watched the final game of the World Series alone. That was me and Eastons thing we would lay on the couch hold each other and watch every game straight through. He would never fuss or complain that just wasnt him. I had just gotten back from being deployed for 3 months and that was our time to bond. If only that time wouldnt have been so short. Every game so far this year has been tough with out him.. Some even bringing me to tears but i lay in the same spot we used to with his picture above my head.(and even talk to him when the games get stressful and ask him to help me out a little bit.)And I know that he is right there with me.. I believe in the Royals and I know Easton does too! So make sure you hold your loved ones tight and never forget to tell them how you feel about them! Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers in the next few weeks!
