I dont pull punches when it comes to criticizing the VA but yesterday I spent the morning at the VA in Portland. Moe and I was interviewed by 2 specialist Doctors who treated me with respect and listened to what I had to say. The doctor talked me through the whole procedure. Was in at 8:00 and out by 9:30. My lower back is pain free, first time since 1995 and the numbness in my left foot is gone. The VA is slow, took 10 months to get this far but the treatment was top notch on the road to getting there. Thank you VA, White City and Portland. If you ever want to do a study in character just visit the 1st floor of the VA Hospital in Portland. You will see Americas best and come away with tears in your eyes.
