I dont quite understand this war cry for new Hope in India. Are things really so dismal right now? Arent you drawing better income today than you were a decade ago? Arent you driving better cars, not to mention being able to afford one now? Arent you buying the best consumer goods in the market? Arent you living in better houses? Your buying power has increased, hasnt it? Hasnt the economy improving steadily so much so that people across the world have been taking notice of it? Havent your living standards improved manifold? What is so hopeless about all these things? The previous got punished and rightly so for its corruption and scams, but has it left you in a state worse than what you were 10-12 years ago? Its unfair to have this misplaced hysteria and one should give credit where its due. Hope is for people who are in a hopeless situation.. and I know most of you arent - and I pray it stays that way always.
