I dont see how people can actually enjoy video games. I mean in comparison its like the time you were a young kid watching cartoons. You never thought about the voice actors behind it, so you would watch it caused it sucked you in. The colors or favorite cartoon characters never understanding the mechanics of how it was made. Cartoons and movies was without a doubt what you see is what you get. When I watched anime I find it completely dull. I own a lot of anime dvds but only 10-13 different series that I can tolerate voice acting and the cut scenes. (Nothing worse then watching a movie and all you can count is the amount of editing). So now that I got you thinking of that, video games will never be the same for me. Ive advanced my programming and hacking skills to the point I see algorithms and different arrays of string commands. For example ff13, a game savefile, its based on mapkey and characterkey like (id:2545-757-975A gs: Orphans Cradle 145:78:90) Lightnings profile from last save would be (02 0a 07 67 56 e4 a5) you could modify the code and make it something else. Hell I modified it to have beast stats and crap ton of gil. This being said call of duty is getting kind of stupid after mw3. The one game that is classic and probably has some of the best coding is starcraft and broodwar. All video games really are is true and false variables, and array commands. using a controller that is used to signal in a command. voice actors behind the games are actually horrible because of sync issues between jap and english software developers. So ya knowledge is power but makes you realize whats fun isnt actually all that great.
