I dont share the opinion of some persons that Boko Haram is being supported by Northern leadership because they want to make Nigeria ungovernable for Mr President. But I may concor to the guessing that our leaders are either caught unaware or are passive about the recent happenings. Otherwise I can see how one can dislike someone and turn round to kill his brethren. The new conspiracy theory is that the Boko Haram saga was carefully orchestrated plan to destroy northerners and all federal establishments built from oil Wealth previous. Then at end North will become backward underdeveloped and the country will be divided. The advocates said that the pattern of Boko Haram destructions show their attacks on government machinery, state apparatuses and federal schools universities, colleges etc. That even majority of the arrested members are non-Muslims and cant even speak Nigerian language. Hence they are fathom soldiers hired to unleash harm on us. Just like any other theory, it may not necessarily be true in practice but it establish pattern of thinking and ideas to explore. Therefore we may be tempted ask the following questions ; *who stand to benefit from this destruction of lives and property? *why attack education in the north if we are regarded as educationally disadvantaged? *under which regime were the refineries constructed? *who are the conspirators in the north? *is all this about politics of national leadership? * Why is it that Boko Haram prefer to kill the masses instead? * what is the total number of Muslims to Christian killed? * why is it that despite the emergence the military couldnt quell the insurgents? The book of history is widely opened to record all those behind this crime against humanity. Is matter of time, now or soon the truth shall emerge. Even if Nigeria is divided by elite politics, against masses will, we will remain as neighbors. Surely!
