I dont think Ill ever be able to understand the life of an addict. I could never imagine myself choosing a drug over my children, family or friends. I sit here and think about all the lives heroin has effected. So many of us have lost friends and loved ones to this evil drug. And for that my heart is filled with sympathy. I dont understand how they are willing to lose everything theyve ever wanted and everything theyve worked so hard for to get that high. People these days are burying their loved ones and then getting high with the same thing that killed them. Like I said I could never understand the choices they make but I pray for a better day when this evil drug doesnt have so much control over so many good people. There is a reason in everyones life to get clean. And I know that its easier said then done. But there is always someone in your life whether its your children, spouse, parents or friends that want a better life for you and that would give you the time and love you need to help you get clean.
