I dont think Pink Floyds new album is really much of an album at all. Not that its not good. It is. But lets call it what it is, a collection of half finished songs and demos that show a promising new album that we will never see. Due to the tragic loss of keyboard giant Richard Wright. This collection is Wrights, and Floyds, swan song. An ephemeral last glimpse into the dreamy world of Pink Floyd. Whats interesting and fitting in this collection is that so much of what is presented is like revisiting certain periods of the bands history. Some songs sound like they could be on the Delicate Sound of Thunder album, or Dark Side of the Moon. Its a melancholy stroll down an Endless River of memories of this band.
