I dont think so. At least not for me. My old desk had my printer, a stack of books, the land line phone, AM/FM clock/radio/CD player, my PC tower of course, pens, folders, paper storage/pigeon hole box (a dozen or so compartments for storing various sized printer paper), documents I didnt have online or file, drink coaster (where whatever I was drinking at the time lived upon), a glass or cup (depending upon if I was drinking water, soft drink, or coffee - occasionally could be a can instead of a glass), scraps of notes, a desk calendar, PC external speakers, little figures (Betty Boop, Marvin the Martian, Princess Leia, Wallace and Gromit, etc...), failed print pages that were saved for scrap note paper, a mouse of course - with a mouse pad, and a broken scanner I never got around to dumping until we moved, unused stickers that were just put there for putting away later, a monitor (at one stage a monitor stand), CDs, DVDs, CDROMs, DVDROMs, R/W CDs R/W DVDs, failed CD/DVD writes, lost floppy discs, and a stack of other shit and cords and cabling to run the electronics. Wow... My current desk has mine and Relly Walls PCs back to back, the paper storage/pigeon hole box, my PC tower, Rellys all-in-one PC and monitor, keyboard each, mouse each, she has various stuff on her side similar to mine but entirely different, on my side I have a hand towel I use to cover my expensive gaming keyboard (never owned one before but I needed a new one a few months back so I splurged on Kristine Pearces advice :) ), external PC speakers, a drink coaster, a coffee mug sitting on it right as I type - great coffee thanks Kristine! :) My wallet, my keys, a note scrap with writing on it from a game group reminder from 1990-something (or late 80s?), a great Doctor Who 2015 desk calendar, a copy of the Pimpama Mens Shed constitution I have to read... eventually, a hair brush, and a pen caddy with lens cleaning spray (for my glasses, which oddly enough, dont live on my desk?), pens pencils, toothpicks, a letter opener in the shape of a sword, and of course the cables and leads to the electronics. This current set up doesnt even take into account the rechargers/connectors for the iDevices plugged into the PC tower and draped over the top of it, a USB hub in the shape of a lamp, the USB The Sims 4 plumbob external HDDs, pen, paintbrush, figurine, and other stuff sitting up there on the tower as well, or the stuff on top of the paper storage/pigeon hole box... So I find this clip to be a tad bit of a lie... And I am still waiting for my flying car and my hoverboard damn it!!!!!
