I dont think the ALS challenge is stupid or pointless. Other than the fact that everyone is doing it on Facebook, I see no difference between this and any other type of charity. Before this, I had no idea what it was. I would never willingly dump a bucket of ice water on my head, but when I saw this video and saw how grateful this woman was for all the people willing to try and help raise awareness, I figured, why not? I know it wont give this woman a cure, but even the smallest gestures help. People wear pink for breast cancer, shave their heads for St. Baldricks, donate their hair to locks of love, donate their change at stores or purchase pieces of paper and display them on walls with their names on them for St. Jude, and thats only a fraction of it. I think that we should all be positive about any kind of help to find cures for these horrible diseases that take so many lives. This world would be so much better if everyone tried to do something selfless for someone else at least once a day. All those little things will add up to something big ;-) ♥♡♥
