I dont typically post a lot of personal stuff on Facebook, but tonight is the exception. Ruby, my yorkie, was hit tonight. I heard the truck, but as it didnt stop, I didnt see who it was. I take responsibility for not being outside with her at the time, I know she likes to visit the neighbors. I just hope that somehow you didnt know you had hit a tiny 5lb. dog. Because if you knew and drove off anyway, you are a horrible person. She has a few injuries but according to the vet was very lucky. My dogs are a part of my family and as such it makes me very angry when someone hurts them. God forbid that one day the people that fly up and down our road take out a child.
