I dont understand this dont buy Chinese bikes thing on here. Are they really that bad or is it here say? I took a biker mate (who was anti Chinese bike) with me when I went looking. Bought a Chinese bike from a dealer in Kirkcaldy from new. Its been brilliant and Ive had it a year. Unless Im in a total minority and just really lucky then I think, for a first bike, when you are on a budget and usually know nothing about bikes it is a safe bet. I was going to,sell mine but its a great wee runner so Im going to keep it for now although the lure of a more powerful bike is there now Ive passed my test. The quality of the chrome isnt as good as bigger brands and I changed the oil and spark plug to a better brand but apart from that Ive done nothing and its fab. Not looking for an argument, just genuinely interested in peoples experience of them. K
