I dont usually do a review of a movie---but I just watched an interview with Nicolas Cage about the Left Behind movie that opened this weekend. I am a FAN OF THE LEFT BEHIND SERIES OF BOOKS----I am a fan of Nicolas Cage---I am a fan of Willie Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame (who was one of the producers)---and I was a fan of the idea of bringing the Left Behind movie again---though Kirk Cameron had already starred in the Left Behind series. Well---to say THIS VERSION OF LEFT BEHIND was TERRIBLE would be accurate. And I believe I am being kind. Nicholas Cage said he was unaware of the series of Left Behind books and THAT I believe. How could Willie Robertson produce a film that deviated so dramatically from the book? I am disappointed. First, I am excited that a Cessna flew for a long time after the rapture---and of all the parking lots in all the world it comes to a crash landing hitting Rayfords car while Chloe jumps out of the way (?????)----then Chloe breaks into a hospital after seeing the confusion at the front of the hospital---they had one woman running around in a white doctors coat--out in front of the hospital and then when Chloe gets into the hospital---there is that same doctor in the hospital. The most believable part of the movie (though not in the book) was when Chloe went to the nursery and all the babies are gone. I couldnt give this movie any star. Not even half a star. Oh wait, yes I can----1/2 star for the song at the end of the movie----I WISH WED ALL BEEN READY....me too....
