I dont usually do this but I am SO angry, disappointed and disgusted at this page which is basically a forum for inciting racial hatred by the small minded people of the town that I am now ashamed to have ever grown up in. These people are objecting to the possibility of there being a mosque built in the town centre in place of what used to be a pub. They think that building a mosque will increase the number of immigrants (i.e. terrorists) who are determined to take over our Great Britain and therefore cause a greater amount of trouble in Stalybridge. The people voicing their opinions are uneducated, BNP-esque supporters who are ignorant, ill informed folk who have no idea about culture other than to have a curry or a kebab when they are wasted on a Friday night. Do they not think that the horrible culture of binge drinking may have something slightly to do with the high crime rate in Tameside, not the promotion of peace and worship? In addition, will these people EVER visit the countries of said immigrants and ever see the poverty prevalent there? No. And why would they bother spending their money discovering the world if the country was full of brown people? Do they ever consider the reasons for immigration, i.e poverty, civil war, the reason that the democratic western world keeps bombing the shit out of their countries? No. These people (evidently) make my blood boil and I will be more than willing to remove anyone from Facebook who shares the opinions of such racist lowlives. The people who need to be exiled are not the innocent Muslim community who are used as social scapegoats due to the VERY small minority of Islamic extremists but instead, these people who spend their time promoting racism through such pages.
