I dont want to hear how this was a f..king moral victory or any other kool aide drinking delusion. The Texans got beat..again. The losing tradition remains unbroken. Face it, the Houston Texans apparently are genetically incapable of producing victories against good teams...ever.. The defense was Jekyll and Hyde. The Eagles never punted . Let me say that again..the Eagles did not punt once. Sure there were 2 interceptions and that was good. But face it again..It was Mark Sanchez off the bench who won it... Yes, that same Mark Sanchez who began his mediocre career 6 years ago with the Jets by being the first NFL rookie QB to win his initial start on the road, naturally against Houston, Sure there were injuries in an already sucky secondary and our linebackers are the worst in the NFL, our QB short arms every pass, and our offensive line is a joke, and the game was still close..But folks, we LOST. Our kicker shanks a chip shot to tie the game and 4 plays later the Eagles were in the end zone without having to put a ball in the air. Our tackling is atrocious and outside of JJ Watt the defensive line is more porous than the Mexican border. And who is the clown named Hal and what the hell is he doing on any NFL roster? I thought Kareem Jackson was the worst DB in the lea gue. I was wrong. Hal was putrid. And once Foster went down it was game over. The Texans pulled to within three only to have the Eagles eat about 9 minutes on a 15 play drive that was kept alive by another stupid penalty which plagues some of the terminally stupid on the roster. Forget any sugar coating. This season is over. Another waste of emotion on a franchise that just does not flat out seem to care about winning because it isnt ingrained in the fabric of the fan base, the ownership, the management, the coaches, and certainly not the players.. The record is 4-5 and the Texans blew another chance to prove they are remotely a decent franchise. They are not. Time for me to have a long heart to heart with Jack Daniels and drink away the awful memories this season has produced. Gag me..
