I don’t know if you wake up at nights as the emptiness haunts you and you drown in your tears. I don’t know if you smoke cigarettes while sitting on the roof at night just because the pills can’t make you sleep. I don’t know if you find ways to hurt yourself so the pain can overcome the pain that you feel. I don’t know if you curse everything as you think of all those things that you could have done right. I don’t know if you try to find solace in stranger’s beds and regret it later as you realize that nothing can make you feel better. I don’t know if in anger you smash all the pots just like you smashed everything you had. I don’t know. I don’t know anything. Yet I know.. -j.w
