I don’t know which of you here in Idaho play golf or know someone who does, but I want all the Idaho golfers to know about Sheridan Academy’s 1st Annual Golf-a-thon on August 5 at Plantation Country Club. Not only does it support a great cause (Sheridan Academy is the non-profit private school where I’ve worked for the past 12 years. Our small class sizes, individualized curriculum, and dedicated staff allow us to help students who struggle in more traditional schools), but it’s only $400 for a team of 4! Now, I’m not a golfer, but that seems like a pretty good deal for an 18 hole tournament scramble, 7 extra sink a putt holes, a golf cart, a box lunch, a bbq dinner, a gift bag and a multitude of chances to win some pretty fabulous prizes!
