I don’t post much on this page, but when I do, I try to make it meaningful and ‘relevant’ as possible. So, here’s what I’d like to think out loud: Before I ‘joined’ TZM after watching Addendum in 2008, although I knew there was something very wrong with the system we live in, I could not quite comprehend how to reach a feasible solution. I knew already that as long as we have money, politics and law, we will never be a civilised species because those three properties of societal structure will inevitably cause poverty, war, crime, disease, etc. So, I was already half way there, by already having identified the underling causes of all the problems in our world, but TZM introduced me to a feasible solution that can be applied today. We are long overdue actually, because Buckminster Fuller talked about the very same ideas, he even talked about overhauling our entire civilisation from being ravaged by poverty, war and artificial scarcity into a peacefully abundant society within ten years by the 1980s. We are indeed long overdue for that overhaul. So what is holding us back? What is stopping humanity from turing into a collaborative species from a competitive, war mongering society? From my understanding, the things that are holding us back are not technical, because we have possessed the technology to evolve our society for at least the last 50 years! The problem has always been the application of that technology and the ignorance and apathy to apply it. That ignorance stems from our value systems that we have all been conditioned into by our environment, but for how long must we see ourselves as victims of our environment before we realise that we can change our environment and no longer be victims of it, but instead become the guardians of Earth. We are all, collectively, an entangled mess. We have to untangle ourselves because we are in a crisis of Consciousness, that is the only crisis that exists in the world because the world we live in is of our own making. It is the making of our own thought processes that have interlinked to form imaginary constructs of the mind and materialised into functioning systems of structure that govern the practices of life all over our planet. The world is but a collection of ideas that have manifested through our actions. All of the systems of governance, culture, religion, societal systems, the system of exchange through currencies, etc, they are all products of the mind since they were all once a thought in somebody’s head that was then applied and distributed. And now that we have such systems in place, systems of control, systems of fear, systems of advertising, systems of war, systems of structural violence, they are all being perpetuated by the same level of consciousness that created them. We are stuck in a consciousness loop because collectively, our level of understanding has not changed from the day these systems were thought of and created. However, few of us have managed to identify the causality and worked out solutions. Unfortunately, nothing will change unless a critical mass is reached and according to the 100th Monkey theory, 10% of the population would be required for a critical mass in order to disseminate the change necessary to put Humanity onto a self sustainable footing. One cannot continue to be dissatisfied by the way things are because of the beauty of the things that await all of us and that is the potential of our species to reach unprecedented heights such as space exploration, a kind and compassionate society that is civilised without the need for power and control. Too often, those that have realised a new way of thinking and a sustainable train of thought either through TZM or through intuition and observation, etc get caught in intellectual quibble that produces the war of words. Whether it be on topics such as religion, ‘conspiracy theories’, science or whatever, well, I say we don’t know shit about anything and those that think they do, don’t know either because we are all as a species in our infancy. So, instead of focussing our attention and energy into such meaningless debates, and this applies to me as well because I am very much guilty as charged, wouldn’t it be great if we focussed on being the change we want to see in the world? Wouldn’t it be great to focus on love, and I don’t mean individual love, but collective love for one another as fellow human brothers and sisters, and of course for the androgynous as well! Add compassion and humility to that as well and all of a sudden, we have human beings that are practicing what they preach, being the change that we want to see in the world rather than just preaching the change. Because, first and foremost, before we get technical, its our emotional value systems that need to be changed from an individualistic point of view to a societal point of view, in the hope of approaching all of the technicalities of society head on with a positive outlook I guarantee you, we’d see less conflict and less tension, at least in our discussions with one another about the multitudes of topics that we discuss, especially on this Facebook page and we’d approach them with an open mind without any favourability to a particular pre-disposition. Cut throat behaviour such as sarcasm, arrogance, cynicism and ignorance have no place and we can finally collaborate with each other. I mean, we’ve all subscribed to a train of thought that TZM advocates, so why not get along with each other first instead of all of the unnecessary tension within this particular group? Its present in almost every post that is shared or posted and I must say I respect the administrators for not interfering in any heated discussions by not deleting or censoring any comments or blocking or removing users, since everyone has the inherent right to voice their thoughts and ideas whether they are agreed with or disagreed with. Anyways, i’ll stop there before this turns into a full blown essay… ^_^
