I dreamed of you today. as I lay awake in my head. I dreamed of that day when we first met. like a reflection in a pond. distorted by a drop of a pebble. I saw you smile that knowing smile. some how you knew like I did. somewhere deep in my dream a man grabbed me not unlike him. he took me away from you hid me in a cave and fed me the dreams of shadows. chained to my own desires I learned to love it love him love servitude. as I dreamed within my dream I dreamed of a dream in between. in this dream I found your face. lost among the shadows. I woke to find him gone and my chains unshackled. when I left I couldnt bare the light so stumble along blind for a while. your hand led me where I needed to be. I woke again into the great dream in hope that Ill see you again.
