I dropped a $100 bill at Vons tonight, went home, realized it, then went back (my home is only a block away), and tried to look for it, but had some doubt that I would find it. And of course my $100 bill is nowhere to be found. I checked with the cashier too, but they didnt see anything, and no one has reported anything. Oh well, its just paper, right? went home, and had some sad moments... :( :( ...... 20 minutes later, Vons manager called my home number (Im a member there, when I purchase anything, I punch in my phone number for club discount), and he said that they found my bill and its ready to be returned to its owner, 2 seconds later I was there, :). I found out that a stocking lady found my $100 bill and turned it in. I asked the manager to take me to her to say thank you, I tried to offer her anything she wants as a token to my appreciation, but she would refused and said: Youre welcome! Its hard to believe there are still good and honest people out there nowadays. God bless them all.
