I echo Hanizah Hashims words as follows: To those still flogging the Allah issue as though it is a Malay idiocy and that Christians are the victimised, perhaps you should stop reading legal decisions and read this article. Everytime I bring this issue up, as Dr. R. Albert Mohler, Jr., was quoted: the Qur’an explicitly denies that Allah has a son, and Islam considers the idea of a triune God to be blasphemy some Christians wring their hands as though, being a Muslim, I could never understand. Allah is a word that means different things to Christians and Muslims. It may be just a word to you, it may be some laughable legal decision to others, and it may be another political ploy to obfuscate and rule. But no matter what you think is the right of the Christians, perhaps you should understand why Muslims are not happy about it. Once upon a time the word gay meant being carefree and uninhibited. Nowadays, if you used that word in the wrong context, you could be lynched by the gay lobby. So, how do you use the word Allah now?
