I ended 2014 with a meeting of Ipoh City Watch. Isnt this the best way to end a year? We planned for the following year. Planning is most essential to ensure success. Putting our heads together for the betterment of Ipoh is the best way to end the last few hours of the yesr. Great things are lined up for Ipoh in 2015. ICW assures you that we will start off with a bang! Since yesterday we, together with OUM have started collecting useful items for glood victims and will continue to do so till 3 January at OUM, Jln. Lim Bo Seng, Ipoh. Ipoh is a great city, quaint and unique. Used to be the cleanest. Though this is lost, we can recover it if only every Ipoh citizen and those entrusted with authotity will do the right thing! DO NOT LITTER! Every less scrap of papper you throw, every spit you hold back, every time you clean the drains outside or empty a container of water, you help to keep your city clean and healthy! Take proactive steps to help clean up your city. Explain to your neighbours the need to cooperate. A community can never look good until the last stubborn family in it decides to join in to clean it up! Laws and punishment may help but it take neighbourly goodwill and cooperation to ensure success in cleaning up Ipoh. So from today, smile at your neighbours, wish them, share with them, talk to them and help them. ICW wishes you all a blessed and better year.
